Best Foundation & Pressed Powder Compact

Hi Everyone,

I've been searching for a new foundation with medium coverage and believe I finally found one that I like. However, before I share my thoughts, I'm wondering if you can share with me what you like to use? I may want to continue looking.

In addition to a new foundation, I'm also looking for a new pressed powder compact to include in my handbag so the packaging is important to me. When out and about, the compact has to be sleek and the powder has to be able to touch up areas that need a little extra help especially with the hot weather approaching. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for your help! Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I use bare escentuals however find that it doesn't cover much anymore and open to finding another option.

  2. Try everyday minerals. I liked them lot better than Bare Escentuals, and you can choose the finish, whether it be matte or dewy.

With the summer months coming along, I like to also use tinted moisturizer and just a powder to set it. Any flaws are easily covered with concealer. I use Dior, but Benefit is also great. I finish it with La Mer loose powder, and I either use concealer from Benefit or powder concealer from Everyday Minerals. Hope this helps!

  3. I just bought Makeup forever. This is the first time I'm using it and I think I like so far. It has a bit more coverage than Laura Mercier (I been using hers forever). I have really oily combo skin and i haven't had the need to blot that much today. I don't really use pressed powder. I used Lancome Absolue Powder which is a loose powder. That holds my make up in pretty much all day. it gives me a soft glow.
