About debut:
début was conceptualized by owner and FIT graduate Lisa Weiss. Her mission was to create a platform for up-and-coming designers to showcase smaller collections and jumpstart their careers in the New York market. The boutique’s ultimate goal is to put women on the cusp of cutting-edge style, featuring exclusive lines from the brightest, new international talent among début‘s rotating season-to-season collections. The gallery concept promotes the individuality of the designers as artists, by highlighting each collection in its own space within the store. The opportunity for each designer to stand alone also provides an interactive chance for the consumer to see each label and its true unique relevance to her own personal style.
