Purlisse - Safe Skin Care During Pregnancy

Pregnancy changes a woman’s life and mothers-to-be must cater to their changing hormone levels. Body and hormone changes may lead to skin problems, including oilier, drier and/or more sensitive skin. In order to achieve the coveted pregnancy “glow” it’s extremely important for expecting mothers to find skincare products that are safe and natural.

Many skincare products claim to treat pregnancy skin issues, however, many use ingredients that are not safe. Products with harsh ingredients such as retinoids, parabens, synthetic colors and fragrances, salicylic acids and benzoyl peroxide, alpha and beta hydroxyl acids and lactic acids may cause reactions and should be avoided. Fortunately, Pur~lisse’s entire collection is free of harmful ingredients and is completely safe to use while pregnant. Pur~lisse can alleviate commons skin issues associated with pregnancy and can be used as part of your daily skin regimen to improve tone and complexion. This is accomplished using pure and natural ingredients.

Pregnancy Skincare Tips

Tip: Avoid Regular Soap
Soap can strip skin of natural oils. Many pregnant women do not initially experience the pregnancy “glow” and are instead faced with irritated, dehydrated skin. Instead of harsh soaps that contain chemicals, cleanse with purlisse pur delicate gentle soy milk cleanser. This lightweight, soap-free foaming cleanser gently washes away dirt and makeup without stripping skin of its natural oils. Oatmeal, soy milk and soy proteins work together to cleanse and soothe the skin while protecting it from cellular damage and leaving it with a creamy, silky appearance.

Tip: Always Moisturize
It’s important to provide constant nourishment to skin. Avoid using chemically formulated lotions and moisturizers, which will not give skin the natural hydration it needs. Relieve dry, itchy skin with purlisse pur moist hydra balance moisturizer, which contains natural ingredients that soothe the skin. Infused with White Tea, Seasilk and Blue Lotus, this delicate hydrating moisturizer balances skin to keep it soft and supple. A secret blend of French Marine Plants offers superior inflammatory benefits, fights free radicals and prevents the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin E works to protect skin from environmental damage, resulting in the dewy, radiant complexion all pregnant women deserve to experience.

Tip: Avoid Unprotected Exposure To The Sun
Pregnant women are especially sensitive to sun damage and skin should always be protected with a potent SPF. purlisse pur protect essential daily moisturizer spf 30 shields skin from the harmful effects of the sun while nourishing and moisturizing. This lightweight formula contains pur~lisse’s exclusive Hydra-Shield Complex, which provides UVA and UVB protection and keeps skin silky soft with Vitamin E and soy proteins.

I'm curious how you can claim that this brand is safe for pregnancy? what kind of clinical testing was done to ensure that no ingredients have ever been linked to birth defects. I went to the Pur Lisse site and could not find any list of ingredients-can you direct me to one?

I hope you are not recommending Pur Lisse because you will be needing them anytime soon especially if that means you will be taking time off from your HR job. :-)

The importance of keeping your skin healthy can't be overemphasized. It's the body's first defense against disease and infection, and it protects your internal organs from injuries. It is, in fact, the largest organ in the body. Skin Care Treatment helps to your body temperature and prevents excess fluid loss, and it also helps your body remove excess water and salt. Most women strive to keep their skin looking youthful. http://skin-care-treatment-natural-tips.blogspot.com
