Let's Face It

Women are always looking for a good at-home mask and I finally found one that I'm proud to share -Borghese's Fango Active Mud. With all its rave reviews, I had to try it and I'm so glad that I did. The mineral-enriched mud mask from Tuscany's volcanic hills energizes and nourishes skin cells. Within minutes of appying, drying and cleansing, the special absorbing action unclogs pores, eliminates dead skin cells and detoxifies impurities. I have ultra sensitive skin and it did sting slightly but then settled and dried up very quickly. It's a great product for all women and perfect for those on the go. Let's face it, there's no excuse not to take 5 minutes to take care of your face. A must try!

Fango Active Mud for Face and Body

What does it do?
In just five minutes a week, a Fango mask treats your mind and body to the total spa indulgence. Fango, a mineral-enriched Italian volcanic mud, to which a wealth of nourishing and energizing natural extracts has been added, is fundamental to the Borghese beauty regimen.

Fango is essentially three treatments in one-a deep-pore cleanser, an invigorating exfoliator, and a hydrating firmer that helps reduce fine, dry lines and wrinkles –a Fango treatment is considered by Italian spa-goers as essential to well-being. Fango is suitable for all skin types, yielding smoother, firmer skin.

Extracts of avocado, geranium, lavender and peppermint oil work in harmony with Borghese’s exclusive Acqua di Vita Mineral-Water Complex to stimulate and tone skin. Fango exfoliates and revitalizes the skin helping to reduce the visible signs of aging. Skin is purified, leaving it smoother, firmer with restored luminosity and vigor.

Fango’s benefits for skin on the body are equally as impressive. Fango provides effective skin texturizing, anti-cellulite action. The stimulating, hydrating and exfoliating abilities of Fango’s active natural ingredients help re-contour, refine, and recondition the appearance of skin all over the body.

Who should use it?
Oily, normal-to-oily, normal skin
Clients with dull, lifeless skin
Clients with rough dry patches on face and body
Skin that is unbalanced
Clients with cellulite
Sun damaged skin (must wait at least 3 days after peeling has begun)

When?
Use once or twice a week, or whenever your skin feels stressed or fatigued.

Application
For Face: Smooth a generous layer (about one quarter inch thick) of Fango over the face and throat, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. Do not allow mud to dry! Dampen a sponge or washcloth with tepid water and gently remove until face and throat are clean. Pat skin dry and follow with the appropriate Borghese moisturizer.

For Body: Apply in the same manner as face, smoothing extra Fango over problem areas and leave on for 10-20 minutes. Remove with sponge in a warm shower. Follow with Tono Body Lotion or crème.

  1. Great blog! Thanks. I recently stumbled upon www.thepatientsadvantage.com. I used them when looking for a surgeon.

If you are going to go down the cosmetic surgery road...better to be safe than sorry. Check them out.
