Every woman longs for long eyelashes and we're always trying to find new ways to get long, thick, flirty lashes. In the past few years, I've been a loyal fan of Dior Show mascara, attempted eyelash extensions although beautiful, it was a bit too high maintenance, returned to using Dior Show Mascara to add volume and length and a coat of Imju Fiberwig - Fiberwig Mascara to extend my lashes even more. I have friends using the same combination and love the look. With an attempt to get a more dramatic effect, I am now onto by next attempt to seek the truth on eyelash serums - applied nightly like eyeliner, eyelash conditioning serums claims it will help achieve longer, thicker, and fuller lashes. After speaking to a woman who had beautiful full lashes at a cocktail party, she shared her secret - Revitalash. She noted that Revitalash worked better and slightly cheaper than competitor, Jan Marini - Age Intervention Eyelash Conditioner. With living proof in front of my very own eyes, I had to try Revitalash!
Revitalash Product Review - Do eyelash serums really work?
With no skin irritations, I've been using Revitalash for about 8 weeks and there is a slight change in fullness and length to my skimpy lashes. I even noticed little pieces of lashes that are growing where I didn't have lashes before and the new lashes are curlier too. It works for me!!! I'm going to continue to use Revitalash and we'll see how much more my thin, nonexistent straight lashes will grow.
My friend is using Jan Marini and has also seen changes in fullness and length. Results of eyelash serums really seem to range for each individual; you won't know if it works on you until you try it.
Revitalash is sold at www.revitalash.com with a 100% satification and Jan Marini is available at www.treatsfortheface.com and save 10% by using “californiastyle” coupon code for online and in-store purchases.

Hi California Style,
First of all, I want to thank you for having such an informative blog offering all women great beauty tips. I have been a fan of yours for some time now and am constantly referring you to my friends.
After reading your post debating Revitalash and Jan Marini, I thought I would give you my personal account. A couple months ago, I purchased Revitalash in efforts to get longer, thicker lashes. Years of wearing fake eyelashes and one to many experiences of them falling out in public (I will spare you all the embarrassing details!), I decided to jump on the eyelash growth bandwagon. I had heard of Jan Marini and the numerous success stories it had received but chose to try Revitalash (the cheaper product) instead.
Weeks went by, and I continued to see no results. It was incredibly frustrating because I read about so many success stories but I unfortunately, still had the same wispy lashes. I accepted the fact that I probably would never have naturally long lashes but my friend suggested that I try Jan Marini (my last effort). Within two weeks, my damaged eyelashes were beginning to thicken and darken. I was completely shocked by the immediate results and began using their Hair Revitalizing Conditioner, which was just as effective.
All this to say, I know both products are great but I wanted to share with you my Jan Marini experience and how it has changed my self-esteem. Not only do I have thicker, darker lashes but also my hair has a newfound body and an ever-present shine! I truly hope this product helps some one as it did with me!

This is a great post, I really want to try a lash serum. Why are they so expensive though? argh, gotta save.
Talika is another eyelash enhancing product available at Sephora but I haven't tried it so I can't compare.
I have tried Talika, it's about $38 at Sephora. I find that my lashes come out if I wear mascara alot, so I try to give my lashes a break on the weekends (unless I go out). If I have a spot that is thinner or sparser, with a few days of regular Talika use, the lashes come back. And the ones that are there are get longer--fake-eyelash long. I think everyone has an individual reaction to products, so it may not work for everyone. But it is cheaper than revitalash and jan marini (I'm dying to try both). I think Ardell lash growth serum is the cheapes, at about $4 at Ulta. But this product doesn't work for me.
I started using Jan Marini in Feb 2007 after a three month waiting list due to the FDA getting involved. I've heard it's new packaging and I've heard it's a new formula. Not sure what is true.
I did see a difference at 2 and 3 months however now at 6 months my lashes have shortened to their regular length. I'm not sure if it's lost it's affect or what as I don't drink, smoke or wear mascara that often. But when I do Dior Show is the way to go!
I have tried the Revitalash and it works! When I started using the product, I had pretty good eyelashes. After about 6 weeks I started to notice a difference, new and longer lashes. I have been stopped on the street and asked who did my eyelash extensions? I have discontinued using Revitalash to see what happened to my regular length and fullness, I have seen a decrease in volume, but that is about it.
Good Luck! :)
I've found another product called Massive lash from a company called Intuit Beauty that works just as great and less expensive. Works as fast 21days up to 45 days for results. Retails for $96. Check it out. youngeru.intuitbeautydiva.com
How do you think is that beautiful to apply false eyelashes?
I currently have been using Jan Marini eye lash conditioner since they re launched the new version and it's amazing. Already after 6 weeks my eyelashes are alot longer. wow! and revitalash has since been pulled of the market by the fda.
Another great product is Keracyte (www.keracyte.com). My friend spent a few years teaching English in Asia and I heard that is what a lot of the women there use for lengthening and thickening their eyelashes. This product is less expensive and you get more of it than Jan Marino's, plus it’s very safe. The ingredients are similar and even milder than an eye serum product the company makes for wrinkle reduction.
My friend has used Revitalash and it has darkened her eye due to the ingredient that it has. FDA pulled Jan marini eyelash conditioner due to the same reason. I guess revitalash is next. Besides, they are being sued now by Allergan because they are using it's drug not their own. The new Revitalash doesn't really work anymore anyways. The older one was better.
I've been using the Jan Marini for a year now. I purchased it last April and am still using the same tube. It lasts forever because you don't need to use much of it. Globbing it on will not make it work any faster. So though it's a huge initial investment, it's well worth it!
The new Revitalash does work, but not as good as the old formula. You can find some cheap discount Revitalash here.
As the owner of an Eyelash Bar I see eyelashes all day everyday. We do sell Revitalash and I see the results on my clients. Because most of them come back every month I get to see the change. I have had clients come in who have gone through chemo, had bad lashes from someone else that pulled out their own, a bride who only had half eyebrows ect. Within 3 weeks there is a more than noticeable difference. We sell out of the product everyweek! I would caution people from buy the product from anyone other than an approved retailer. Some people tamper with these things. Plus if you buy it from an approved retailer you are guarenteed 100% satisfaction or your money back! Much safer then spending less and wasting your money on a fake!

(Sorry, I deleted my first post since I am still learning to post!)You should only get revitalash from an authorized dealer- There are some bad ones out there. I found a dealer online who also donates to fight breast cancer. I bought it from them. Great service too. Try fight cancer with Revitalash
By the way, my lashes took a while to grow- about 9-10 weeks, but when they finally did-WOW. I love them.

My friend just got ripped off by someone on ebay. her bottle didn't come with a safety seal and when she called them they would not take a return. I bought mine from the www.revitalash.com. I can't wait to try it. I watch Ugly Betty every week and cannot believe how long Becky Newton's eyelashes are. She uses Revitalash and loves it.
