The Beauty Closet - Where Celebs Shop

Where does one go to find unique and hard to find make-up and skincare products? The Beauty Closet in Studio City, California. Shannon Levy, a product junkie, opened "The Beauty Closet" 1.5 years ago with the intent to bring others her greatest finds. Customer including celebrity fans visit her cozy store for the newest beauty and skincare products. I visited last weekend and picked up the "Satisfied" lipgloss by Scott Barnes who is also Jennifer Lopez's make-up artist. The lipgloss is perfect for to creat the J.Lo nude look. And of course, I also wanted the J.Lo “golden glow” but it was sold out, so I had to add myself to the waiting list for "Diamond Dust." I can't wait!

The Beauty Closet is the only free standing boutique in Los Angeles to carry the full Scott Barnes Beauty line including his collection of beautiful makeup brushes. Both Jessica and Ashlee Simpson love this line. Jessica just ordered a bunch when she was in Louisiana shooting Blonde Ambition from The Beauty Closet. Jessica also likes using the Scott Barnes Foundation in Carmel, Ashlee uses Caramel and she just bought the new red lipstick by Scott Barnes. Many celebrities including The Pussycat Dolls can't live without his Body Bling -With just a few pumps of this bronze in a bottle, skin is transformed from winter white to St. Tropez tan. And most importantly, we love the J.Lo Glow which Scott achieves with the Diamond Dust. Even J.Lo's good friend, Leah Remini, requests for this "glow" and visits the store often.

* The Beauty Blender - Hollywood Fashion and Film makeup artists, Rea Ann Silva and Veronica Lorenz has created the most coveted sponge application system. The unique elliptical shape offers flawless foundation (fluid, cream, powder) application.

* The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ in Brown Sugar and Vanilla Bean. With the winter months here, it's hard to keep our lips moisturized but The Lip Scrub will save the day. Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson love them.

* Milena's Candles in blueberry muffin, creme brulee and chocolate chip cookie will make you hungry but what a yummy smell! Makes a great gift too!
